The  blue Maine Guide Patch is for those specialties that are totally water-based. This means that if you are a Registered Maine Guide for Sea Kayaking, Tidewater Fishing, or Whitewater Rafting you are entitled to wear this new patch. Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife created this new patch for issuance in 2006. Each of these specialties may still wear the traditional red and green patch if they wish. The patch is shoulder patch sized ( about 3.5" x 4") and ready to iron-on.
