On-line registration for the 2006 Androscoggin Hand Powered Regatta, held in Brunswick, Maine on Sunday August 20th. Early registration will be accepted through 8/11/06. The State of Maine Flatwater Championships will test a proposed bid course for the 2008 National USCA Flatwater Championships. A Recreational fun 4.0 mile paddle race will be offered as well as sprint races for youth and adults. New this year will be the War Canoe Sprints - bring a team of 8-12 paddlers and race against others. The boats will be provided but you need paddlers, paddles, and life jackets. Teams will enter for $50 each. Proceeds of the event will be used to promote youth paddling in Maine.
